Teklas Silgec S00925 - my experience

Well this is the only label that identifies the wipers that came originally with the car - Renault Clio III. Google search points to "Teklas Kauçuk Silgeç" - a company that actually produces windshield wipers, so I will assume that this is really the brand Renault have chosen for their Clio III.

Well, as usual, the manufacturers side is full of superlatives of their product, but my experience is a bit different from what they have promised. During the summer they were just fine. In the autumn when it got colder they started to produce quite some nose when the windshield got almost or completely dry... Well, that is nothing compared to what they sounded during the winter. Essentially they are worthless - almost solid, they barely could be called wipers...
There is one more major flaw. The mechanism that secures the wipers to the arm is just some perplexity. Below freezing temperature, this part is full with frozen ice, which makes it impossible to be removed. Seriously? It never occurred to anyone who designed this lock that this could happen?
